Aluvin Securiseal has been manufacturing and distributing security seals in South Africa for over 50 years. We are now the oldest and largest seal provider to customers across a huge range of industries. We specialise in providing security sealing solutions for applications including cash in transit, airlines, shipping, transportation, retail, electricity, gas and water, confidential documents, precious metals and pharmaceuticals. These solutions include both the appropriate sealing device for the specific application, as well as advice on the implementation and control of an effective seal management system. The objective of such a system is the prevention and detection of tampering and theft, and the reduction of shrinkage and loss.

Aluvin has comprehensive manufacturing facilities in Johannesburg, South Africa and we work closely with our international partners to stay at the forefront of the security sealing industry. Together we spend large amounts of time, money and effort to develop new and improved products that manage risk and control loss.

We offer an extremely wide range of security sealing products from simple but effective indicative seals to state of the art electronic and reusable seals. Our range also includes bolt and cable barrier seals, reusable and disposable security bags and security labels. Our products utilise state of the art materials and technologies such as bar-coding and radio frequency. All products can be embossed with customer details in addition to a unique serial number for control purposes.

Aluvin is a South African company with its head office and factory in Driehoek, outside Johannesburg. We have sales branches in Cape Town and Durban and our team currently comprises over 60 people. Due to the nature of our products and their applications, our two main areas of focus are ongoing quality and customer service. In addition, our people conduct themselves in line with an agreed value statement, which encourages strong teamwork internally and with our external business partners.

Vikela Aluvin (Pty) Ltd, established in 2004, is a broad-based black economic empowerment company, and is the sales and marketing division of the Aluvin Group.

The shareholders in Vikela Aluvin (Pty) Ltd, are Aluvin Securiseal (Pty) Ltd, and the Vikela / Aluvin Employees Trust, the beneficiaries of which are predominantly black staff members. Previously disadvantaged individuals (PDI's) own a 47% shareholding in the new company, and are therefore economic beneficiaries in this new structure. Other BEE initiatives including skills development, affirmative procurement and social upliftment are ongoing.
